LeBron James has announced the official title of the film until known until now as ‘Space Jam 2’ and released the official logo on his Instagram.
The sequel to the 1996 classic starring Michael Jordan was announced back in September 2018, and will be the first major acting role for LeBron. The Lakers legend expressed his excitement for the movie to The Hollywood Reporter saying:
“The Space Jam collaboration is so much more than just me and the Looney Tunes getting together and doing this movie. I’d just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don’t just give up on their dreams.”
The film is set for release on 16th July 2021.
